Registration and Wonderland Closet theme!

This morning was busy busy. Registered for school and found out it starts 15 minutes earlier this year. Not good for this night owl Mom. I don't do mornings very well. Oh well Jerry and Jaden do. After registration Diana invited us over to play. I am so excited we came up with a plan for our booth at Christmas Village. 3 1/2 months early. HALLELUJAH! YEAH! YIPPEE! Now I just have to recruit a bunch of helping hands to hang up all of those beautiful clothes. Please don't run from me at church I may just be coming over to admire your purse or shoes.

Cheekwood pictures of Charity a couple of weeks ago.

A couple of weeks ago we tried Cheekwood. The first time it decides to rains all summer....as soon as I pull in the gate and park the car. Raindrops. So if you need rain at your house and live near me call... I'll run over to Cheekwood for a few minutes and you can expect down pours. So I just realized that I have not posted any pictures of Sophie's sweet friend Charity. Here a few shots of her.

Cheekwood photo shoot in 107 degrees

Yesterday I received an email that had a free voucher to Cheekwood for that day only. I call up my friend and make plans to take the four of our kids to do pictures. Well first thing it was 107 degrees. 2nd thing after being there for 30-40 minutes the skies became furiously angry. I was pleasantly shocked when I looked through the memory card and found some precious jewels. Here is one....Emma Jewel. Love this baby that was born 8 weeks after her best friend. My sweet Sophie

Naptime?

Well apparently this is what is going on today during naptime. I have been downstairs on the computer researching this afternoon for a shoot I have on Saturday. Noticing the time I ran upstairs to check on kiddos and this is what I saw...

Not sure this is a good position to sleep in. There had better be grizzly bears under there buddy! So of course I notice the light coming in the windows grab the camera and tripod and start shooting. Hello there sweetie feeling tired yet?
Jaden, grab your guitar and strum then you absolutely have to go to sleep.

Happy 4th of July!

We decided not to go and watch the fireworks downtown this year. Neither of us were in the mood. We actually prayed for rain so the kids would not be upset. They did not care a bit. Jerry went to a local fireworks tent and bought a bag for us to do our own. We have already shot off the bottle rockets and the kids threw their snappers. We are watching the Macy's and Washington D.C.'s fireworks shows. When it gets dark enough we will go out and shoot the rest of Jerry's goodies.



Some of the snappers did not pop when hitting the ground so Sophie took care of them.
