YATS! cajun.creole.crazy. I say YUMMY!

We love YATS in Indy but found out there were 5 and we thought there were 2. We put YATS in the Garmin (who we call Susan) wanting the one downtown. We ended up in uptown Indy. We decided to stay at the one uptown and eat at the one downtown the next day. Worked for all of us!

The Menu...It changed while we were standing there. Okay this guy...Andrea and I both wanted his shirt. He would not sell it to us. We even threatened him but still he loved his shirt so much he would not part with it. Trip to Indy last week

So this is it the moment we went to Indy for. To see Farrah direct the choir in singing the song she wrote.The song is awesome and she did a great job directing it. She had to hold her hands way above her head because she is so short they had trouble seeing her:).

Okay we are cruising along Indy and see this picture...of course we yell stop the car and jump out and do this.Farrah was laughing so hard we barely got this shot. Right after we finished taking the picture someone pulled in and gave us very dirty looks. We jumped in the car and took off. The other car pulled into the parking space directly in front of the picture so no one else could do this. By the way this is on the side of a Photographers Studio. Come on if you don't want people to enjoy your work don't plaster it on the side of a building downtown Indianapolis.

Memories of the Big Boy

On a road trip last week I spied Big Boy. The restaurant was Frischs. When I was a kid it was the Shoneys Big Boy.

I love the Big Boy!

So I made Mom get her picture made with him.
After this picture was taken, I thought about how many other people may have kissed him before me.
How the Big Boy got big! Loved the free suckers on the way out as a kid and now!
The food was not great but the memories were. Good to see you again Big Boy will try to catch you again sometime. He is still smiling after all these years and he still makes me smile too.

Pastor and Sis. Becton's 25th Pastoral Anniversary at First Church

Batson provided the 16x20. Camacho designed all of the scrapbook pages. Barlar is very blessed to have such talented friends that can come through on short notice. Cook helped Barlar attach and arrange scrapbook pages to board. Because of these 3 wonderful ladies, that I have a privelege to call friends, I was able to sleep Saturday night with full confidence that Sis. Becton was going to love it. And love it she did. She was overwhelmed by the whole day.
