I love being a Sunday School teacher.

We have 35 on our roll in Sunday School class. They are all either 8 or 9 years old. My husband always has testimonies before the prayer requests. This week a new little boy, Wilonja (he has recently moved here from Africa) raised his hands when Jerry asked if God had did anything good for anybody this week. In beautiful English he said, "He woke me up happy." Folks that is BIG! My heart is still overflowing. Do you realize how many people did not wake up this morning. And those that did wake up how many of them were not happy. I also had a conversation with another young man Frederic he just moved here by way of Tongo, Africa, then to Missouri, and now resides in Nashville...he told me that he loved Africa. He said, "Africa is really fun. You can play outside any time you want! The church was right across the street from my house. We also had a zoo down the road , but there are no animals in it." He made me want to go! I wish I lived right across the street from church! These gentleman reminded me of the really important things in life for children and adults...wake up happy, play outside any time you want, and it is important where the church is in your life!

I teach Sunday School...I learn more than the kids do every week!
