An amazing gift....

I am the oldest of 8 grandkids on the Gann side. Every year at Nanny and PawPaw's house we play with our favorite Christmas decoration. A little Santa Claus that if you touch his head he jumps down a pole and onto a chimney. It has always been at their house. I am not sure how much he cost and how old he is but to me he is priceless! Nanny and Paw Paw drove over to mom and dad's Saturday they got up at 3:00 and left their house at 4:45 to spend a few hours with us. Paw Paw called me into the kitchen and gave me OUR favorite decoration. I was speechless and overwhelmed. I turned around to my mom and said, "They gave it to me." And then the floodgates opened and I bawled openly for 5 minutes. They checked with the other grands before they gave it to me. Paw Paw said, " Who knows what would happen to it if we died." Well I'm just glad we won't try to kill each other over it. It was very special and I am still overwhelmed. It means so much to me that they would give it to me and that the others would be okay with it. I have already told Andrea that if anything ever happens to me it will be hers. Thank you Nanny and Paw Paw you made this 34 year old feel like she was 4 again.

Nanny, Me, and Paw PawThe silliness comes honestly!
They also gave me great checkbones, dimples, and a kickin' metabolism!

What a great story. Although I'm extremely jealous of that metabolism gene!

Merry Christmas to y'all!
