Ahhhhh Saturday

We have been cleaning house today. I am a stay at home mom who is hardly ever actually at home. You can usually find me in a grocery store, a school pick up line, ballet class, church,tdot, etc... Most of my time is spent in the car....we live 20 minutes from everywhere. So today the whole family is helping me clean. Many hands makes light the work or something. Stress runs high with me until the house is actually clean. It is now clean so I am much easier to be around. The reason for stress is we have people coming over tonight for supper that have never been in our house before. Didn't feel right about closing doors on a first visit...although I did close doors last Friday night when all the audio/visual people from church came over to watch the YPG video. The guys probably didn't even notice that the doors were closed.

We are supposed to get some snow tonight. I am not counting on it. I do hope that we get snowed in tomorrow...I have a clean house and I would love to lay before the Lord in it for a little while.

I desperately need to clean out closets. Maybe now that the rooms are clean I can tackle those again. Goodwill should not be hurting for donations for awhile after I get rid of all of our treasures. Sophie is my only hope for a little organizer. Jerry, Jaden, and I find some things hard to part with. Sophie recognizes things for what they are things. She is very sentimental and loves cards but she keeps the most important things and lets the others go. I need to be more like her. Not just in things but in everything I need to learn to let more go. And then again there are things I should not let go, like cleaning the house for instance.
